Terttulia, Koregaon Park

Thanks to Sheetha Chacko, The B Team got an invitation to enjoy the experience of Restaurant Week and we were more than happy to be a part of it. I chose to head over to Terttulia, Koregaon Park for the 3 course meal.

The Ambiance

Having been to Terttulia before on several occasions, I knew I was in for a treat. Mr. Nishant was our host for the evening and he made sure we had a seamless experience.

Lemonade

We started off with some Lemonade and Peach Iced Tea. Both drinks were really refreshing and good.

The three course meal was split into the appetisers, main course and dessert.

For appetisers, we went with the Rosemary Baby Potatoes with Terttulia’s BBQ Rub and the Grilled Chicken in Black Olive Tapenade.

The Baby Potatoes were infused with rosemary and were perfectly cooked. A subtle taste of the evident BBQ rub just elevated the taste. It tasted really good and a perfect appetiser for vegetarians.

The Grilled Chicken was perfectly cooked, coated in a creamy sauce and topped off with some finely chopped black and green olives. The flavour was absolutely subtle and the olives added that perfect zing to the dish.

For main course, we went for the Three Mushroom Risotto with Toasted Nuts and Aged Parmesan & RW Signature Lasagne of Roasted Tomato & Bocconcini.

The Three Mushroom Risotto had this pink color which I am not sure how the color was imparted going by the description of the dish. However, it tasted really good.

Lasagne of Roasted Tomato & Boconccini

The Lasagne was placed on a bed of tomato sauce and there were layers eggplant and other veggies in the lasagne. It was topped off with a pesto paste. I found the tomato sauce to be a notch undercooked and hence it was way too sour. A very good suggestion by Nishant was to have a cheesy sauce on the side to go with it. The cheesy sauce paid off and I was able to polish the plate clean.

For desserts, we had the Gooey Chocolate Cake and the Apple & Cranberry Crumble.

The Apple & Cranberry Crumble was actually a pie filled with apple and cranberry served with a splash of caramel. It was amazingly delicious.

Gooey Chocolate Cake

The Gooey Chocolate Cake was a super duper gooey chocolate cake with a melted chocolate sauce on the top. It had lovely bitter chocolate and it took us no time to wipe off the plate.

It was a splendid evening indeed alongside our host Mr. Nishant. A big shout out to Sheetha for inviting us. Restaurant Week starts on 16th September and continues until 25th September.
